It took only until the weekend after the initial release on Wednesday the 14th of October, for the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set to sell out at the U.S. Mint.

The set has been widely anticipated among Mint collectors because of its iconic focal theme, Abraham Lincoln. The silver dollar commemorative, likewise, sold out fairly quickly. The Lincoln small cent proof sets are also very popular with collectors and slab collectors, dealers and investors.

The set was limited to one per household so the set could be purchased by the greatest number of people given the relatively small mintage of 50,000. They have been seen on eBay for nearly four times initial selling price, about $200 or more.
